About the Event

Dirty Draft Sundays are Monthly gatherings for writers of all ages working on writing at all stages sponsored by Breath of Fire Latina Theater Ensemble.

An afternoon for those who are looking to share pages for feedback or just make time to think and write in the company of a nurturing writing community.

What to expect? Expect time, support, and community.  You will be welcome by ensemble members Angela Apodaca and Elizabeth Isela Szekeresh who will lead participants through a process during which you will write, share, be inspired and feel supported.

What to bring? You and your writing tools (device, writing pad, paper, pens, pencils). Feel free to bring drafts you’d like to share.  Bring extra copies for your readers and or share your draft/ pages electronically.

If you have questions, concerns, and or require specific accommodations to our programming please email us at breathoffirelatinatheater@gmail.com

Breath of Fire Latina Theater Ensemble (BOFLTE) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that  supports its mission by serving as an incubator for voices that have been historically excluded in theater and on the stage. We do this by providing programming that offers guidance in storytelling, playwriting, producing, and acting. As artist residents of California State University of Fullerton’s Grand Central Arts Center in Downtown Santa Ana, we offer programming that brings seasoned theater artists to facilitate high-quality theater-making workshops in person, and online. No one has ever turned away for lack of experience and our community programming is free.

BOFLTE is supported by our leadership, artists of our community, volunteers, and donors like you. BOFLTE makes every little bit count and happy and appreciative to accept your generous donation. Please consider donating in 2023 to support our FREE programming to our community online and in-person! DONATE HERE.
