About the Event

Celebrating and Memorializing Life:

A final call for writers to honor those who have passed from Covid 19. Breath of Fire is putting out a third and final call for writers to honor those who have died:

  • Choose the story of someone who died from Covid-19
  • Write a 1 page monologue. Lean towards celebrating and memorializing life. The monologue can be said by anyone, and can be left up to your interpretation and style.
  • The pieces that are accepted will then be filmed by you, or an actor of your choosing and added to our collection on our Breath of Fire YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYyDf-KJVS0&list=PLywhW4TcIFDp9aldEU4Fr6pydbe1Nfsua

Submission June 25 thru September 25, 2021. One submission per writer for the next round.
