The Gina Davidson Ensemble Artist Grant was created and to honor and memorialize, the late "Gina" Maria Regina Michale Davidson, a Breath of Fire Latina Theater Ensemble founder who always inspired others to explore their creative side. The grant is to be awarded to a deserving ensemble member.

About the Event

The GINA DAVIDSON MEMORIAL ENSEMBLE ARTIST GRANT FUND

“Gina” Maria Regina Michale Davidson was a much-loved human being, tia, and artist. A graduate of St. Callistus, Mater Dei, Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) and California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) where she received her undergraduate and Masters degrees. Her two great passions were her work and her family.  Gina shared her love for the arts and for her culture with her family and community of artists. She was an educator at CalArts and Orange County School of the Arts where she taught stagecraft and design. She shared her passion and knowledge of theatre and design with those also pursuing their interest in these areas. Throughout her 25+ year career Gina, a member of United Scenic Artist Local 829, worked with various theaters and departments including REDCAT Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse, South Coast Repertory, Western Stage, University of California…
